Hello all.
Tomorrow I am in the studio recording a track I wrote as part of the ‘Lives & Lyrics’ project here in Derby.
5 songwriters from the county have been put with different social groups, to try and bring their stories to life. I was placed in a young offenders institution with kids between the ages of 14 and 17.
It was quite an eye opening experience and one that I hope I have done justice to.
As part of the project, the 5 songwriters will be performing their tracks for free, to the public.

Wednesday 22nd November @ The Brewery Tap, Derby, England.
Thursday 23rd November (2:30pm) @ Baby People Studios, Derby, England.
Saturday 26th November (Midday) @ Mackworth Community and Youth Centre, Derby, England.
Wednesday 30th November (4pm) @ The Quad, Derby, England.

cool stuff. try also suggest making a clip with the kids in each of the 5 groups, and create one disc/record to sell on the net . money goes to the kids : ) anyway, well done. hope u share the results online : )
