The difficult third album…

Oi

This week we are venturing back to our creative home, the Isle of Wight, to start work on our third studio album.

Having spent the last 3 years gigging, writing, going through band mates, having a broken leg, I am finally getting myself back down to Studio 5a, to get the new material put down.

My drummer Atticus, and bass player Matt, will spend the weekend laying the foundations for me and Steve to chuck our nonsense on top of.

The album is very different from anything I have done before. Songs like ‘Jura’ and ‘I will row’ would not be out of place in a remote Scottish drinking hole, while ‘Man on fire’ could have been written after a pilgrimage to early 90s Seattle.

OK, we would all like to write our own reviews, but I will quit there.

The album should hopefully be finished by the time I play the Shepherds Bush Empire in June. Touch wood.

In no particular order…

Wade In, Get Your Love On, The Island, I Will Row, Jura, Man On Fire, Route Of Least Resistance, Take It Off, Let The Light In, John.

Now for an album title…
